• Career-related Programme (CP)

    Who is the CP for?

The CP was specifically designed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning, paired with 2 or more college preparatory classes.

    Career-related Certificate Program (IB CP) – Grades 10, 11 & 12

The IB Career-related Program provides students with both an academic and practical foundation to support post-secondary education, and specialized career training. Students choose a career program of study in either Wooster Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. The IBCP features rigorous academics, applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural engagement. IBCP students take a minimum of two (2) IB Diploma courses; complete a career program of study; and complete the IBCP Core, which consists of Personal and Professional Skills (PPS) course; a Reflective Project, service learning requirements, and a language development portfolio.

Students study and test in a minimum of two Diploma Programme subjects of their choice, complete the CP Core, and complete 3+years of a Career & Technical Education strand of study.
