Attention Parents of Senior Students: 

As we approach the final stretch of the school year, we want to ensure that you are well-informed about your students’ progress and attendance during this crucial time of their senior year. We encourage you to continue utilizing our parent portal to monitor your student's academic performance and attendance regularly. This tool provides valuable insights into your student's progress and allows you to stay updated on their achievements and areas of improvement.

Additionally, we want to inform you that we will be sending out certified letters to those students who may not meet the state requirements to earn a Diploma this year. These letters will provide detailed information about any necessary steps or interventions that may be required to ensure your student's successful graduation. Please be on the lookout for these communications in the coming weeks.

As we enter the final eight weeks before graduation, it's essential to stay engaged and proactive in supporting your student's academic journey. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your student's progress or graduation requirements, please don't hesitate to reach out to our senior counselor (christina.zuniga@washoeschools.net), our Family Graduation Advocate (aramirezcruz@washoeschools.net), or administration (emsanchez@washoeschools.net) for assistance. We are here to support you and your student every step of the way.

IMPORTANT DATES

Scholarship night is WEDNESDAY, 21 May at 6pm. Attendance is by invitation only. 

GRADUATION: JUNE 14, 4:00pm Lawlor Center, UNR Campus

For GRADUATION: Only 10 tickets allowed per graduate and 3 parking passes. Tickets will ONLY be issued to parents/guardians listed in Infinite Campus.
